Motorcycle Gang Donates RM25K To Single Parent Raising Special Needs Children
Recently, a group of motorcyclists called “Geng Motorsport” have become known for their generosity!
Last Friday, the plight of single parent from Kelantan, Mohd Zain Abdullah surfaced on the Internet. Mr. Mohd Zain, a father of three special needs children shared his struggles of raising them.
As reported by Bernama, Mr. Mohd Zain’s children have been bedridden ever since they were diagnosed with cerebral palsy as babies. To make ends meet, Mr. Abdullah works part-time as a house builder around the neighbourhood. Mr Zain could only work part-time as he takes care of his children after his wife passed away due to breast cancer two years ago.
It was this heartfelt story that hit close to home for “Geng Motorsport” and many other Malaysians.
After receiving the news on Whatsapp, the group which consists of bikers from Kelantan and Terengganu donated RM 25,140 to lighten Mr. Zain’s burden.
Their generous donation even came with a sweet bouquet of flowers of RM100 notes making up a total of RM5,000! (Aww, how sweet!)
That’s not all!
There was even a special message penned by the bikers for Mr. Mohd Zain – “We hope that this will ease your hardships in supporting the three disabled siblings… Please accept this gift from all of us”.
Ardy Datok Agos, the spokesperson of the group, revealed that the donation came as soon as one of Mr. Zain’s nephew shared the family’s plight in their Whatsapp group.
The bikers were also willing to make a personal visit to Mr. Mohd Zain’s house to hand over the donation.
According to Ardy, this is the highest amount of funds they have ever collected. On a monthly basis, the group would collect funds in a savings account called ‘jaja tabung’ to help anyone in the group in case of an emergency.
No doubt, this inspiring story shows us that we should all try a little kindness!
