The date, July 11, bears a special significance numerically to 7-Eleven as its founding day. Free slurpees are usually handed out to all their customers on this particular day.
This year, one family was in for a huge surprise as they received more than just a free slurpee!
When little J’Aime Brown was born, her parents, Rachel Langford and Johntez Brown were taken aback by the numerical coincidence of her birth. Weighing 7 pounds and 11 ounces, their little infant was born on the 11th of July at 7:11pm. Speaking to CNN, Rachel discussed this fascinating occurrence – “I thought it was weird at first, and I didn’t know that (the numbers) meant so much.”

“A lot of the times (during the pregnancy) I would look at the clock and it was 7:11.”
Upon hearing this news from local news outlets, the convenience store personally congratulated the family. In fact, the company sent a gift basket of baby supplies to celebrate her birth!
But wait, there’s more!
The convenience store donated USD 7,111 (RM 29,000) for J’Aime’s college fund. The parents were over the moon when they received this generous contribution – “It’s hard for anybody to even get a trust fund for their children. To get a blessing like that, it just helps a lot.”
