In true Malaysian spirit, amid the recent heavy downpours, a business owner in Kuala Lumpur has open his doors to those in need.
The heavy downpour had caused many motorists to be stranded and realising this, this business owner has since offered his office space as a temporary shelter.
Apart from that, he also provides those who are unable to head home due to the floods and heavy traffic some hot coffee while they wait it out.
This offer comes from the owner of Milkfish Lady, a local business operator selling fishing equipment and proving fishing tours.
In a recent Tweet, the owner said “Hi everyone, are you stuck in KL City because of the floods? We’re keeping our office open, feel free to drop by Wisma Central, Unit 3.30 for a hot cup of coffee … free. Keep warm with us and let’s wait it out together.
The Tweet was posted by Shamin Shaimah.
At the end of the day, she posted another Tweet, thanking everyone who dropped by and assuring that their doors would always be open for anyone who fancied a cup of coffee.
Many netizens had since praised her for her thoughtfulness and generosity in reaching out to her fellow Malaysians.
