A social media user, Tiffany Soong recently shared a moving experience she encountered during her drive back home after work in Johor Bahru.
One of her tyres got punctured and she was left alone by the busy road about 7pm.
Her calls to the Plus Helpline went unanswered and she could not help but burst into tears in her car.
At that time, three motorcyclists approached her.
She said she was first afraid, but then one of the men asked if she had a spare tyre and she showed him where it was.
“Before I could say anything, the men began helping her.
“The men asked where she was and she told them she was from Kuala Lumpur, to which they said the same,” she said.
The three men were not friends, but were working together to replace the tyre.
“I met the other guy who ran out of fuel, so I helped him. Then we met the 3rd guy, who also ran out of fuel and we helped him.”
Not long after, the 3 men bumped into Tiffany who was in dire need of help.
“We saw that you were all alone here so we decided to give a helping hand,” they said.
Tiffany said this incident has since restored her faith in humanity and unity.
