In a truly touching and heartwarming scene, residents and frontliners celebrated together to make the end of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) at the Sri Ayu flats in Bandar Baru Bangi in Selangor recently.
Videos and photographs of the happy event were shared on the Hulu Langat Information Office Facebook as a mark of appreciation to the frontliners who were on duty there for two weeks.

Frontliners were seen dancing in the middle of the flats to loud music, while residents cheered them on.
According to the Hulu Langat Information Office, the frontliners were also showered with gifts, including flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and food items.
“We hope all residents will continue to take care of themselves by frequently washing their hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser, to keep wearing masks, and to maintain a physical distance of 1m,” said the Information Office.
Residents can be seen dropping gifts from their balconies as the frontliners in full PPE were preparing to leave.
According to reports, the flats were placed under EMCO after about 200 residents tested positive for Covid-19 within a month.
There are about 2,300 residents there.
