Ashraff Ariff was going about his own business when a little girl, in tears, came running up to him from a car.
The incident took place in Taman Bukit Indah, Johor, recently.
According to a tweet from Ashraff, 44, after speaking to the girl, he found out that she had been left alone in the car, while both her parents went to get something.
He then ended up waiting for almost as hour for her parents to return.

“There she is crying out of the window with this Indian man (me) standing next to the car and everyone who walked past looked at me like I’m doing something bad to her.”
The child’s parents finally came back from shopping and apologised while thanking Ashraff profusely.
They told Ashraff the child was sleeping at the time and they did not want to wake her, so they left her in the car.
After the post went viral, netizens praised him for looking after the child and hit out at the parents for their irresponsibility.
A user commented, “It’s a good thing that she met a good person. Imagine if she asked for help from a person who is up to no good.”
After the incident, Ashraff urges all parents to be more careful.
