Reports in the New Straits Timesa said the cats were treated with worm medication, ear mites, flu treatment, eye ointment and vitamins. The department also provided consultation to Siti Endon on how to manage the cats, their diet and ensure a clean surrounding.
“Since she keeps a large number of cats, it is important to pay extra attention and ensure proper treatment when the animals are ill. We will check on the cats to ensure the animals are spared from illnesses including skin diseases,” Dr Kamaliah said after visiting Siti Endon.
