Final year students of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies UiTM iCEPS (Institute of Continuing Education & Professional Studies) have chosen to organize the Digital Window Program with the Orang Asli of Kampung Sungai Buah, Dengkil.

In line with the motto of the #DigitalUntukSemua program, the final year students of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies UiTM organized the Digital Window program with the Orang Asli of Kampung Sungai Buah in an effort to reduce the digital divide between the indigenous people and current technology.

“This program focuses on digital exposure in line with the strengthening of communication towards 5G technology.

“Through this disclosure, it opens up opportunities for them to generate income through social media technology in line with the new post-pandemic norms of COVID-19,” said Project Supervisor and Lecturer of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Shira Haniza Yaakop.

A total of 50 residents of Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Buah are estimated to take the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge on exposure to technology, especially social media.

The Digital Window program which took place last Friday was also attended by Tok Batin Kampung Sungai Buah, Juli bin Blat.
