Here’s an inside scoop…

Since the beginning of 2020, from March probably, we have seen frontliners and those in essential services going the extra mile, working around the clock. From doctors and nurses, to police personnel, retail workers and delivery providers, all of whom have been tirelessly fulfilling their duties as responsible citizens.

In recognition of their unwavering efforts, Ice-cream brand Inside Scoop decided to do something meaningful. As they celebrated their 7th year anniversary, a campaign called #KitaBelanjaKita was rolled out from 21st to 28th November, where for every scoop of ice-cream sold, one was given free to frontliners. What was heartwarming, buyers were able to write personal messages to frontliners, and even sweeter, frontliners who personally purchased a scoop could also request for ice-cream to be delivered to their colleagues.

The campaign which ended slightly over a week ago drew overwhelming support, and here’s how we know Inside Scoop truly delivered on its promise. Its social media pages (FB, Instagram) were filled with pictures of volunteers on their way to ‘menjana happiness’ delivering bags of ice-cream, or frontliners from all walks of life simply enjoying their free treat.

Gestures like this go a long way, don’t you think? A simple (or should we say sweet) way of giving back to society indeed.
