Fast forward to this year, not much has changed and for Joshua Liew, co-founder of Espressolab Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, he has resorted to an appeal to Malaysians to save his struggling business.
“Please help my company go through this difficult period. We dug into our little reserves to do whatever we can to ensure the company and our livelihoods survives. What we didn’t expect was for CMCO to hit us in October 2020, and the fierce blow that was MCO 2.0 in 2021,” he wrote on a Facebook post.

He appealed to Malaysians to purchase the Espressolab Steepbru Coffee sachets so that he can fulfill his business obligations, salaries and also other business expenses such as rentals.
“1 box contains 10 sachets and is priced at RM25/box, and 1 set is 4 boxes. I would like to offer 1 box free for every purchase of 3 boxes, therefore 1 set (4 boxes) is RM75, inclusive of delivery to anywhere in Malaysia.
