To many, getting vaccinated against Covid-19 is something to get excited about and look forward to.
A majority of Malaysians have said they were unable to sleep the night before the big day and were usually all hyped up to get the vaccine.
Considering this, it was no surprise that a woman who recently got vaccinated fell fast asleep in the observation area soon after her jab.
The SOP for our vaccination process is for a person to rest for about 30 minutes at the observation area before they are allowed to go home.
The period is just in case a person suffered any side effects as a result of the vaccination.
Though this woman just dozed off, staff at the vaccination centre (PPV) thought something was wrong and rushed to assist her.

Elsa Yap later took to Facebook to share her little adventure at the PPV.
She said the volunteers thought there was some negative reaction from the vaccine and that she had passed out as a result.
They later realised she had merely fallen asleep and Yap clearly explains this in her post.
She also urged the public not to spread fake news as the only immediate side effect she had after vaccination was a mild case of drowsiness.
She also added captions to the photo of herself, which can be translated from Chinese to English as, “She didn’t suddenly die, she’s only sleeping deeply!” to further clarify her story.
Netizens were thoroughly amused with Yap’s account at the vaccination centre with one netizen calling her a “modern-day sleeping beauty”
