Hats off to a state assemblyman who forked out enough to buy up all the meals a chicken chop street vendor was selling.
Machang Bubuk assemblyman, Lee Khai Loon noticed Firdaus, who hails from Terengganu hold a placard and selling chicken chop, which were readily packed, from a motorcycle, by the roadside.
He then asked him how many were there, as a show of support for young people working hard during the pandemic.
“Firdaus was shocked and happy as he never expected anyone to buy up all his food.
“I then spotted some food delivery riders who also work hard to ensure we get our meals during this lockdown and passed some packs to them,” he said.
He said he was overjoyed to see the smiles on their faces and gave out some of the remaining 17 packs of chicken chop to others.

“Thank you to all the riders who sacrificed and served throughout this FMCO period. May they be protected and blessed by God,” he added.
A simple act of kindness can sure go a long way, especially during hard times.
