People everywhere around the world continue to cope with working from home and teaching their own children as schools are closed amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
In Wisconsin, members of the community decided to lighten things up and prove that maintaining social distance could never stop them from being social people!

Dozens of people took to the streets in South Pine Avenue, Milwaukee in a fun way. Wearing inflatable T-Rex costumes, they marched for a dinosaur parade earlier this week.
Participants of the parade were careful to comply with safety precautions and maintained a six feet distance as they marched through the streets. One dino can even be seen carrying a ruler and measuring the distance from the other to meet CDC-recommended distance!
As reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Stacy Meyer, a resident of the neighbourhood said, “A couple of friends and me wanted to do something just for the neighborhood while people are sort of experiencing the monotony of being socially isolated”.
“If anything, just to give parents and families a little bit of a break, some joy, something different in their lives today,” she added.
Meanwhile in Maryland, Piper Franklin got a birthday parade for her 7th birthday as many public spots such as restaurants and movie theaters were shut down due to the virus outbreak. Her mother, Amanda Hunt Franklin and Piper’s friend’s devised a plan to throw a surprise birthday parade with a social-distancing twist having heard of people in other communities celebrating by driving along the street with signs and cheering.

According to CBS Baltimore, Piper’s parents took her out to the front yard for recycling when she was pleasantly surprise by what happened next! In no time, a dozen cars emerged with signs, gifts and friends cheering for her birthday.
“She had no idea. It was so cute,” said Piper’s mother.
The community came together to make Piper’s birthday a memorable one while complying with the social distancing measures. Even the gifts she received were disinfected to be on the safe side.
“We have just amazing friends and an amazing community,” Hunt Franklin told CBS Baltimore.
Her surprise party went so well that the community is planning on celebrating another young resident’s birthday with a parade, too!
