Kids these days are much smarter and tech-savvy than they ever used to be and this can often lead to mischief if left unchecked.
Recently, Sharifah Cut Shai went online to share how her four-year-old son used his parent’s credit card to help himself to some purchases on Lazada.
Apparently, Luth Harris Aufa helped himself to a variety of toys, including Spiderman action figures and others – all of which came up to RM900!
Sharifah said they had no knowledge about the purchases and that Luth Harris had bought everything on his own.
She also did not receive any TAC notifications from her bank as all her credit card details had been autosaved in the shopping application.
The parents only got to know when the toys were delivered to their house.
“My husband was home at the time and was surprised why I had bought so many toys for our son.
“He then took a picture of the items and sent it me at work asking me if I had indeed bought all the toys,” she said.
She said she was clueless and after some checking found that there were more items pending delivery.
They then realised the culprit was their son and he explained that he was using mummy’s handphone to watch videos when a Spiderman advertisement popped up.
He said that led to his online shopping spree.
The parents then managed to cancel some orders and saved about RM200, but ended up paying RM700 for toys which were already out for delivery.
Pretty sure, after a little pep talk, little Luth Harris will be one happy little kid!
