As we all know, vaccination is now mandatory for all Malaysians to protect ourselves from the Covid-19 infection. As the Movement Control Order (MCO) is still in place, there is no doubt that the outdoor life is duly missed and there is no saying when we can return to pre-Covid habits again.
Some of the current prohibitions that Malaysians nationwide miss are vacations, gatherings and parties, and of course, wedding ceremonies. As difficult it may be for engaged couples or couples intending to tie the knot during the past two years, it is also something friends and families are longing for – to be wedding guests!
Recently, a video went viral on TikTok, showcasing the creator’s experience in attending his vaccine appointment. Not wasting his moments outdoors, this young man equated his journey to the PPV to the experience of a wedding guest! As Malaysians are restricted from attending public gatherings, he decided to pretend and make the best out of his times outdoors.
@diva.h.aya allah terasa wedding vibes dia ?? done 1st dose #fyp #tiktokmalaysia #vaccine
Hadrey Ali, the creator, shared some footage of him taking his first dose of vaccine.
With the caption ” “Ya Allah terasa wedding vibes dia, done 1st dose”, the young man made the atmosphere at the vaccination centre as fun as a wedding feast.
Among the similar situations that he recorded were guests queuing up to enter the hall, sitting in the tent, meeting the “bride and groom”, which was the health worker, and finally taking pictures on the “pelamin”.
What was even more entertaining was that Hadrey attached the song “Selamat Pengantin Baru” as background music in the video to amplify the “wedding vibes”.
Netizens were extremely amused by his creativity and started to reminisce the days where they attended weddings as well.
Thus far, the video has garnered 52.6k likes and 2,825 comments.
