To most of us, our teachers, whether at primary or secondary level, played an important role in shaping our future.
In recognition of their roles, McDonald’s is once again giving Malaysians the chance to nominate their most inspiring teachers for the Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s.
A total 25 winners will walk away with a trophy and RM5,000 each, while their nominators will receive RM200 worth of McDonald’s vouchers.
The award which was launched in 2017 is to honour outstanding teachers and to date, it has received over 19,000 submissions for more than 106 teachers.
According to Datuk Azmir Jaafar, who is the managing director and local operating partner for McDonald’s Malaysia, teachers deserve to be recognised for all their efforts and sacrifices.
All you have to do to nominate your favourite teacher is to visit Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s website.
Then, fill the nomination form and share the most inspiring stories and if possible, upload pictures or videos of your teacher.
Entries can be in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin and must be in latest by April 2.
All nominees must of course be Malaysian and teachers from either private or international schools.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on several criteria, which include improving the academic performance of students, going beyond the call of duty and making a lasting positive impact on students.
The 25 winners will be announced on the Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s website in May.
