It is common knowledge that many people have been losing their jobs since the start of the pandemic. Due to major restraints and travel restrictions, the country’s economy was affected due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) in a bid to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Many economic sectors had to be closed temporarily according to the phase of the state.
Recently, a tweet on Twitter featuring a young man launching an app for freelancers for an economy gig has stolen the spotlight. Garnering massive attention, the application was launched to help employees in various fields earn income.

Alfina and Emad are the founders of apps known as Swifty Pro and Swifty. The purpose of launching this app is to help merchants out there survive longer and tackle the unprecedented pandemic.
The Swifty Pro application allows all freelancers to register their services on the application. On the other hand, Swifty is for users who want to subscribe to existing services.
The launch of the app made steady progress. Many talented individuals have signed up in various fields such as make -up, repairing electrical appliances at home, proofreading, tutoring and so on.
So far, this application is only available in Selangor. Chances are that this service will be offered to all other states in the future.
The application received a warm response from netizens on Twitter, with many praising the creators for the impressive idea and registering for the application.
The tweet has garnered 12k retweets and 8.3k likes thus far.
